Duke - Carolina Game

Last night was the much-anticipated Duke/Carolina match-up.  The game decided the champion of the ACC regular season.  It was also the last home game at Cameron Indoor Stadium, which means for the lone senior, DeMarcus Nelson, it was an emotional night.  

I was nervous, excited and ready to cheer on my beloved Dukies.  Unfortunately, my team fell short.  We played crazy the first half (the emotion of the night), made a run in the 2nd and took the lead.  Then, we stopped scoring.  We had a couple good looks at the basket, but couldn't convert.   

We're looking forward to the ACC Tournament and of course, the NCAA tourney.  Who knows, we may catch up with Carolina in the ACC Tourney.  Best of 3. . . 

And Greg Paulus (pictured above) is one of my favorite Duke players.

Also, Josh's folks are coming into town Thursday evening.  And we're planning lots of fun options for us to choose from.  Joyce Meyer conference in Winston Salem, ACC Tourney in Charlotte, there's a race in Bristol.  The possibilities are endless.  And they're going to be so glad to see green grass instead of snow covered lawns.
