Easter came early this year, but we were ready for it! The most important part of Easter for us is not the eggs, candy or pretty dresses. What a precious gift Christ gave us - and we readily receive it. After an awesome church services (www.westoverchurch.com) we came home to get ready for Colleen and Mike's arrival. Last year we started the tradition of an adult egg hunt and have continued this year. We doubled the number of eggs (90) and the area (inside and outside). It was an exciting time. Mike won the hunt last year handsomely, but would he repeat at the champion this year? ? ? ?
No!! Colleen beat him and took joy in dancing and singing about it.
Tonight we had our friends Ben & Kelly over for an Easter meal- ham, potatoes, Grama Ryan's stuffing and apple salad, and Colleen's favorite- green bean casserole. It was yummy and we played some cribbage afterwards. (Josh won)
Fun times!
OK, still figuring out the slideshow thing. . . it will follow. . .
