Qualifying in Charlotte tonight- Josh asked me to go to this event months ago with the promise that it would be indoors at the Speedway Club. . tempting!! So, we drove down tonight and had a great time!

Our favorite driver is Matt Kenseth, #17, from Cambridge, Wisconsin- Go Matty Go!
Tonight was just qualifying - or Pole night- which means each driver drives as fast as they can around the track and whoever is the fastest is first to start in the big race, Sunday. My brother Brian and his friend Darren are going to the race Saturday and also Sunday. They've been looking forward to this all spring!
Karla and I will be shopping and laying out by the pool while the boys enjoy the exhaust, grilled meat and beer. :)
