Rocketman

My youngest brother Kevin visited us this weekend!  We only had Friday night, Saturday and a little bit of Sunday- but we packed in some memorable fun!  

Brian and Kevin ran in the Salem Lake 10k and 30k race.  They are wearing the former sleeves of Brian's tshirt on their heads.  It was Brian's idea and yes, very goofy.

Intensity.  He finished in 51 minutes- beating Brian and Mike's time (52 min.) from last year.  Competition and bragging rights are big in our family!

  Here we are after the race.  I hope to post a video of Kevin finishing the race sometime soon.  His time was 2:06:36 or something close.  18.6 miles in 2:06.  He's amazing y'all- amazing!!!

And here's a photo from our dessert date.  Josh, Bri and Karla opted to stay home- but Mike, Colleen, Kev and I kicked it to our favorite fancy restaurant- GVG- for some yummy desserts and coffee.

For those questioning the title of the post- rocket man is a nickname that Kevin gave to Josh.  We think it's more appropriate for Kevin- so our signage for the race said 'Rocketman Kevin!'  Kev's not giving up Josh's nickname though, so maybe we'll have to try something different.
