He never misses a meal and sleeps like a champ. These days, he's adding a new skill to his list by the hour it seems. Here are some recent favorite pictures.
Zach's 5 month of life was full of 'firsts.' He tried food for the first time- and loved it. He's sitting up for the first time. He's more and more engaged in what is happening around him- no longer can I read the news on my ipod without him reaching for it with his hands.
Food/Eating: Zach continues to drink 8 oz each feeding. His eating times have stayed the same- 4 times a day and bedtime at 6ish. To this feeding, we've added some tastes of food. He's tried slices of peaches, bananas, tomatoes, toast and cheese. He's also tried (in a little mesh container- see pic above) blueberries and strawberries. He loves all food at this point- but only a little actually gets in his mouth. :) Much gets on him, on the tray and yes, on the floor.
Sleeping: He's still taking 3 naps a day- 1.5 hrs the first 2 naps and 1 hr the last. He sleeps like a log through the night and will go from 6pm to 6:30ish in the morning. We often hear him chattering away in his crib.
Clothes: He seems to have slowed down in his growing length. He's about 20 lbs and wears 6-9 month or 9 month clothes.
Personality: He is getting to be a Mommy's boy. <3 He prefers to play in his saucer/jumperoo/etc when I am easily within sight. He does get upset when he can't see me or Daddy. He's also starting to fuss when things are boring or he'd like to move. In the past, he wouldn't fuss much- only when he was tired. So, this is a little amusing for us. :)
Who knows what his 6th month of life will bring- we are enjoying every moment and only wishing that it would slow down for us!

oh Katie, he is a doll! his "bio" is EXACTLY the same as Judah's at 5/6 months! Enjoy the three naps...if he hangs at J's pace, the third will disappear around month 8. :-)
