the Stories of Us: 8 months old

Zachary John is 8 months old! And he's pretty excited about it :)

Zach has mastered the tummy-back flip this month. He is all over his crib during naps, but seems to gravitate toward the top left corner. Then, he gets stuck/wedged in and needs some assistance.

Zach loves singing and music. We have a few made-up songs that are all about him (naturally). He lights up when we start singing them. He has this beautiful, gummy smile and his cheeks are huge! He is a very big baby.

He has lots of rolls that he's worked hard for!

He's ticklish on his back and under his chin.

He loves his Daddy. Loves. He will follow him with his eyes and engages him by making sounds to get his attention.

Zach isn't crawling, but continues to move in that direction. He shifts his hips and really lays out for whatever he wants. He's not on all 4s yet and if we put him in that position, he drops to his belly. :)

He's so verbal. I love it. He's started making the tsss sound and will babble yayaya and of course, dadada. He hasn't started bilabials (m,b,p) but I anticipate they're coming.
