Lucas Robert O'Rourke

We got a text message this morning that Karla had been in labor since midnight.  They went into the hospital at 9 and she was 10cm dilated and ready to push around 2:15.  She pushed for 8 minutes and this little peanut was born into the world!

Lucas Robert O'Rourke weighs 6.4 oz.  He is very vocal and a head full of black hair, according to his father.  :)

Sophia (Life is Full) and Zach were destined to be buds.  Josh and I are close friends with Sophia's parents, Eric and Betsy.  The Lord ordained that we would walk a difficult journey together.  He also ordained that our first born children would be born on the exact same day, within hours of each other.  God is good.

Zach and Sophia often have play dates.  Notice Sophia's 'twirly toes'!  Maybe she'll be ballerina?
