Mother's day 2014
The days leading up to Mother's day are tough for me. The years we spent waiting to be parents were hard ones and I can remember the longing and great ache. We have great love and respect for each of our son's birth mothers and recognize this day is bittersweet for them.
But once Mother's day arrives, I'm able to enjoy the kids and Josh's efforts to give me relaxing day.
Of course our own Moms are rock stars and we love them so much!

More on Christmas
A few things I hope to change next year. .
1. Food for our family will be gluten and dairy free. It's more fun if everyone can enjoy the meal, snacks and dessert.
2. Involve the kids in the gift process so they understand Christmas is more than just receiving from others.
3. Exchange with my husband. ♡♡
