Josher planned, schemed and pulled of a surprise weekend away! It was awesome! We went to the Melting Pot on Friday night for some wonderful cheese & steak fondue. Saturday morning, he was up and making me breakfast before I realized he was gone. We left shortly after for Chateau Morrisette! (of course I didn't know till we were 30 miles out) Josh found a cabin in the woods that had heat and running water!
We toured the winery, took a nap and then chowed down on some good Southern cookin' at a local tavern. We finished the evening off with a game of Cribbage and 3 episodes of The Office. Aaaah. :) This weekend was all perfect- doesn't he spoil me?
Sunday we drove the Blue Ridge parkway, stopped at several outlooks and even hiked a short trail. It is beautiful right now with all the leaves changing colors. Picture perfect weekend. Enjoy the photos!
