Josh's Recent Activities

Josh asked me this morning to post about his garden. He has spent lots of time edging it, putting up netting to keep critters out, pulling weeds and watering it.

A month ago he planted seeds for a green bean plant (pictured above). We had low expectations for it, being that our last seeds didn't do anything. This guy, as you can see, is growing, growing, growing!

We are also harvesting a lot of cherry and grape tomatoes. This is perfect for the salads we eat and also for a healthy snack.

AND, when Josh isn't in the garden, he's making salsa! Our friend has been making her own salsa - Sarah's Salsa- professionally for years. She now has 6 different varieties: Original Chunky, Smooth Salsa, Mango Salsa, Black Bean Salsa, Hot Chunky and Smooth Chunky. All are excellent and deliciously fresh! If you have a Fresh Market in your area or a Harris Teeter, look for Sarah's Salsa! Odds are - Josh had a hand in making it!
