3 months old

Already?!  Yes, the time flies, but how different things are at 3 months of age.

Feeding:  Zach has always been a great eater- he knows when he's hungry and he knows when he's full.  And because we bottle feed him donated breast milk (thank you Jesus!) we know exactly how much this little (big?) guy eats every day.  He's averaging 30 ounces.

Sleeping:  Starting at the 11 week mark, Zach started sleeping through the night.  The first few nights he woke up around 4 and just needed some soothing to fall back to sleep.  (no feeding)  He is now consistently sleeping 10+ hours a night!!  He is also consistent in waking up by 7- a much nicer alarm clock than Daddy's cell phone buzzing.

Clothing:  I gave in and he's wearing 3-6 months and 6 months.  He is also in Medium sized cloth diapers.  I knew he was ready when he started getting a diaper rash.  With cloth diapers- our rashes are minimum to none.  The diapers seem huge- but no more rash and he will surely grow into these!  :)  Plus- they work and really, that's most important to me.

Other:  Zachary is smiling more and more!  He is talking to us with coos, goos and little squeals.  He especially loves to talk on the changing table- which makes it one of my favorite places (oddly enough) to engage with our little one.  He's kicking and moving his arms- he loves the overhead fan!! And yes, he loves his Daddy.  :)  It's so sweet to see him light up when Josh talks to him.
