Zachary John is holding steady at 22 lbs 12 oz and Mommy is stronger for it. :) He started decreasing his milk feedings this month and has increased his real food intake. :) (see previous video)
Favorite (new) foods: lasagna, black beans, rice.
He is showing his understanding of toys- pushing an item (placed by me) in and dancing with the ensuing music.

For my birthday, Zach sat up in his crib! He has mastered this skill and is rolling and sitting and showing signs of crawling all the time! Ah!!!
He's always been verbal <3 but has taken his screaming to another level. It's startling if you're not ready for it. It also causes some friends to cry. :( Of course, he doesn't mean to alarm anyone, he's just expressing himself. loudly.
Zach's total sleeping time has decreased from 15-16 hrs/day to about 14-15. This may not seem like a lot, but we've dropped a 3rd nap and he's going for longer stretches between naps!

Zach's diaper snaps are on the last button because of his large, round belly! We are loving a variety of diapers from the Little Bee and Gro-Via. I've never had 'fancy' diapers before and I am certainly enjoying the ease of use. [we have used prefolds and fitteds/covers for the first 7 months of Zach's life].
Zach still loves to be worn in the Moby wrap or Ergo. He's relaxed and content. We go grocery shopping together or even vacuum the house when he's being worn.
Cannot believe our love has been with us for 9 whole months. This time last year we were in the process and being presented with different situations. We could not have imagined or written a better love story. We are so thankful to be Mommy and Daddy to this little boy. He brings us such joy. :) Happy 9 months to our Zachary John. <3
