We celebrated Thanksgiving this year with family and friends. Kevin, Michael and Azaria are here visiting from Wisconsin and Missouri and we are so happy to host them! Azaria was born 2 weeks before Zachary made his entrance into the world, so it is so fun to watch them interact and play near each other.
We had two turkeys- one locally grown and organic and one store bought. We cooked them both. Michael and Josh coordinated on stuffing the store bought turkey with habaneros, apples, onions and who knows what else.
All three kids enjoyed Thanksgiving meal- sweet potatoes, squash casserole, green beans, rolls, cranberries, turkey, stuffing, etc. It was all delicious. :)
Josh had sinus surgery on Wednesday and was very relaxed for Thanksgiving this year.
He knows how to dress, doesn't he?
Today I have a moment of quiet, as Azaria and Zach nap and the guys are out shopping for electronics. There is much to be thankful for and much to reflect upon. Here is a sampling of my blessings this year. . .
- the Lord's faithfulness
- my marriage and my husband
- our sweet Zachary John
- for Susan's choice of life and of adoption for Zachary
- for family near and far
- for being home with my baby
Finally, I leave you with a short video clip of the kids playing with a basketball hoop. Remember, they were all born within 2 weeks of each other. :) Enjoy.
